We went to Paul B. Johnson State Park in search of the perfect place to have the wedding. I had a few specific criteria to meet for this place.
1) I want an outdoor wedding.
2) Nice attractive rustic setting.
3) Near water.
4) Nice weather.
I gotta work on number 4. But one through three should be easy to locate. And we did. It fits all of the above criteria plus it's affordable and nearby so driving back & forth will not be an issue.
So the plan is to have it beside the water and under the trees next to the building. Then go inside for the reception. If # 4 doesn't work out we can have it in the building out of the rain. But it is going to be great weather that day, I put in a request for it.
Anyway, It really is nice and we will post some pictures later. We also plan to have a cabin there for changing clothes and for us to have a place nearby to collapse after the event. The color photo above is a shot from the place we will stand to get married.
We have a ton of things to do till next year. Good thing we have plenty of time. ;-)
