Hi y'all

Because of my job, I get to travel some -no complaints here. I get to go to different places that I would not visit otherwise. Recently while I was in Des Moines, IA, Michael came up with this idea. A blog to record some of our adventures and share them with family and friends. My family lives abroad and downloading pictures takes for ever on dial-up so this way is easier. We tried a different site and we found some glitches. So while I was in Fargo, North Dakota, Michael moved it to this new place. This is my first chance to say: How y'all doin'? [I think I'm becoming more Southerner by the day.]

My motorcycle training has been in recess due to travelling, but it will resume this weekend. This is a totally new skill that requires lots of practice and lots of patience. Sports have never been my strong suit so coodinating right hand, right foot, left hand, left foot, keeping balance while on a moving machine has been hard for me. But I like it. It is nice to feel the wind on my face. We been practicing cirlces and figure 8s on the parking lot across the street. On the lesson last week I needed to go arround once and stopping at a marker. After doing that for a while I needed to stop at the marker and then take off again, kind of simulating a stop sign on a corner. I'll give you more updates as my lessons continue. I am fortunate to have a good and patient instructor, Michael.

Thank you for stopping by. Y'all take care now. Edith
