Film at 11

I have been waiting for this with baited breath, the proof for my DVD has arrived! I sent my latest DVD movie that I shot and produced to Createspace.com, they are a distributer for movies. They also publish your DVD on Amazon.com and list producers in the International Movie Database. (imdb.com) The 'proof' is a version of the disc in it's packaging complete with barcode and the disc itself is silkscreened, just like one you would buy in a store. After I approve the artwork and make sure the disc plays fine just like my Master DISC, then I will approve it online and the disc will appear on Amazon.com in about 10 days!!!! I am so proud!

I've published DVD's before on lulu.com and other places, plus sold them from my own web site, but this is a milestone for me because it represents being published by a much larger company worldwide. And I will be listed on the international database along with all other producers and directors, like Speilberg and Trumbal. Yes, my movie right up there with the big guys! LOL

So, estatic is an understatement. I'm damn proud! Hehehehehe

I would have eventually gotten to this point with my videos, but I would have never gotten here so soon if it were not for Edith. She has been an encouragement and driving force in helping me get this far so quickly! Thank you Edith, we did this together! (I love you baby)

She and I shot most of the footage on this disc in Oklahoma (see Oklahoma blog here on this site) and she was my audio tech. She was also here to help me with ideas and correct my horrible spelling. LOL. Plus she ran the business end so I was free to be creative and get it done. Edith is a Godsend in so many ways, this is just one small part she played that ment so much to me and helped us both to get to this milestone. She is a very special lady!

They say, "Behind every successful man there is a woman." I believe that. Edith is an inspiration to me and my creative endeavors.

Before I "proof" the DVD I will wait till she gets back from her trip. I want her to look at it with me, she may see something I might miss. And I value her input and opinion. We will proof it soon and then... it's off to be published!
