No sabemos.

On February 14, Michael asked me to marry him. Obviously I said yes. (This is the short version. If you want the whole detailed story, then keep on reading. If not, then you got the news now).

On Saturday Michael prepared dinner for us. He made steaks, mashed potatoes and corn kernels. I prepared a salad to go with the food. We had a nice dinner at home. Later we went to the studio and both checked our e-mail and surfed the net. After a long while of being online, I thought it would be a nice to have some dessert. Many times on special occasions, Michael gets me chocolates, so I felt like having some chocolates. So without thinking too much about it I said: Hey Michael, why don't you give me my gift now.

M: Didn't you say the other day that you were going to search around the house to find your gift? Did you find it?

E: Well, that's what I said, but I forgot to look. [Com'on give me my chocolates]

M: Are you sure you want your gift now? [Give me my chocolates!] Ok, here you go.

He then pulls out a plastic bag, and takes out a small box [where are the chocolates? I want chocolates. That box is not for chocolates]

M: I hid your gift here in the studio, as I knew you would go search all over the house to see if you found out what I got you before today.

And he opens the box, and instead of chocolate it was an engagement ring. Obviously I was speechless while he put the ring on my finger [what happened with the chocolates?!]. I thank him, kissed him and hug him. I was so happy I was crying. Michael gave me a big hug.

E: Does the ring come with a question? [Just asking, making sure I was not misinterpreting things]

M: Would you marry me and be my wife?

E: Yes.

And more kisses and hugs. No chocolates, but I got something much better, Michael.

This is the beginning of a new stage of our lives.

And before all the questions begin, here are the answers:

We don't know. We have not set a date.

Yes, the wedding will take place in Mississippi. We will have a party here in MS with the family and friends here. Then we will travel to Queretaro to celebrate with the family and friends there.

Congratulations on your engagement!
I'll be waiting to hear about the wedding and the honeymoon. I hope you two will have a fabulous time!
It's a blizzard here in the Denver area, but was much needed in the way of moisture! This was the perfect day that I could take my time and enjoy reading everyone of your blogs. I have enjoyed them so much! What a great job you two do! Michael, I'm so proud of all of your accomplishments; you deserve everyone of them! I hope something can be done soon about your back situation; I'm impressed with your positive attitude you have had about the pain, etc. My prayers are with you.
Rick and tent camp a lot in our Beautiful state; so if and when time is available give us a call about visiting. I would love to meet this wonderful woman you have been talking about. You will be welcome. Your cousin from CO.

Thanks Debbie for stopping by to visit our blog. Once we have more concrete details about the wedding, we'll let you know. So far we know that it will be in the spring next year, before the heat arrives. Maybe you guys can make it to MS then.
Take care.
