We had an awesome weekend! We went to dinner on Saturday to Phoenicia. It's a Lebanese restaurant in Ocean Springs. Then to the Hard Rock Casino to watch a concert. The Pink Floyd Experience was playing.
I've never seen the actual Pink Floyd and since the band is older they may never tour again. So, this is the next best thing and they were every bit a good Pink Floyd replacement. It was like getting to see a Floyd concert from the 70's, without all the extravaganza of today's mega concerts.
That's not to say it was a small light show, it was over the top and then some. In fact, here are clips I filmed during the concert put together in a little video tribute to Pink Floyd and the PF Experience. This was shot with my Flip Ultra HD camera.
Sunday we went to church then ran by Robin & Rita's house that afternoon. Then home to relax. Monday, Valentines day we went on a picnic at PBJ where we got married and carried Ginger. She actually played in the water! Imagine that! (She hates water)
Monday night Edith made salad and baked me a German Chocolate cake to round off the holiday. I ate enough to become 'round'. All in all it was an amazing weekend filled with fun & love.
J.
